The eyes of the golfing world will be on France next September when the country hosts the Ryder Cup for the first time in its history.

Boasting an enticing combination of outstanding golf in stunning locations, fascinating history and award-winning gastronomy, France has so much to recommend to travelling golfers – not just around capital Paris but throughout the country.

And we’re offering you the chance to experience all this – and contest your own mini Ryder Cup – accompanied by three golfing companions by winning a fantastic four-night break for four people at the Souillac Golf & Country Club, set in 60 hectares of magnificent rolling countryside in the famous Dordogne Valley.
As well as enjoying accommodation in one of the resort’s well-equipped four- star lodges – including access to its own swimming pool – the prize also features
unlimited golf on the resort’s 18-hole course during your stay.

Created by Jeremy Pern, Souillac’s par-67 layout lies in the middle of an oak forest, and the design offers a variety of challenges to overcome with the emphasis very much on accuracy rather than length off the tee.

Alongside the course, the resort has a host of complimentary sports and leisure facilities including nine swimming pools, two tennis courts, table tennis, a boules court, a children’s play area, a bar and a restaurant. Hiking, kayaking, climbing, mountain-biking and horse-riding can also be enjoyed nearby, while Souillac
– which lies within easy access of five airports – provides the gateway for guests to discover some of the region’s other delights including pre-historic caves, medieval chateaux and its world- famous foie gras, cheeses and wines.
